Police launch manhunt for Virginia woman with bounty on her head for allegedly killing 2 men

State and federal authorities are searching for a 37-year-old Virginia woman accused of fatally shooting two men at a Virginia Department of Transportation equipment yard in Chesterfield County on July 24, 2026, the U.S. Marshals Service said in a press release.

The U.S. Marshals Service and Virginia State Police have identified Dennikia Rachelle Boyce as the suspect. Boyce has been charged with two counts of second-degree murder in connection with the deaths of Rai’Shon Eugene Delarge, 30, and Philip Avery Wilson, 34, both of Emporia, the Marshals Service said.

The shooting was reported at about 9:30 a.m. at a VDOT equipment yard near the intersection of Route 1 and Route 288, according to Virginia State Police. Responding officers found both men suffering from gunshot wounds. Delarge was pronounced dead at the scene, while Wilson was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.


Both men were VDOT employees, the US Marshals Service said. Investigators identified Boyce as the suspect during their investigation. Virginia State Police said Boyce knew at least one of the alleged victims and described the shooting as a case of domestic violence.

Authorities allege that Boyce fled the scene after the shooting and has not been located. The U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force is working with Virginia State Police to find Boyce, according to the Marshals Service.

The U.S. Marshals Service has elevated the fugitive investigation to major case status and is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Boyce's capture, the agency said. Boyce is described as a Black woman who is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, according to the Marshals Service. Authorities are asking anyone with information about Boyce's whereabouts to contact law enforcement.

DeLarge’s family, in an obituary, said he loved playing football and writing and performing music. “He was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and grandson,” read the online tribute. “He will be greatly missed.” A GoFundMe was set up to assist Wilson’s family. “All who knew Phillip knew he was a gentle giant,” read part of the fundraiser. “Phillip was the rock in our family and this sudden unexpected tragedy has left us broken beyond belief.”
