The company said that it aims to scale the 30-minute beauty delivery offering to all high-demand pockets in the country by FY30.
Commenting on the appointment, Anchit Nayar, executive director and CEO, Nykaa Beauty, said, “Ankit’s experience in scaling complex supply chain and quick commerce operations makes him uniquely positioned to help us strengthen our network, … accelerate Nykaa Now.”
Jain, who quit Instamart last month, had joined the company in May 2025 and was a senior vice president at ecommerce marketplace Flipkart prior to that, heading its grocery business.
Besides Nykaa Now, the Mumbai-based beauty product retailer is also scaling up its next-day delivery service, aiming to have 90% of all orders delivered the same day or next day, and Nykaa Express, which will leverage its existing 320-plus retail stores to enable hyperlocal delivery to nearby customers, with orders delivered in two to three hours.
The push comes at a time when vertical quick commerce has been picking up pace across categories, including fashion and home services.
During the fourth quarter earnings call, Nayar had said that Nykaa Now has 75-80 rapid stores — micro-warehouses from where 30-minute to two-hour deliveries are made — in the top seven metros, which allows the company to cover 80-90% of the relevant pincodes in these metros.
