CoRover.ai, Tech Mahindra partner on India-origin AI

Conversational artificial intelligence startup CoRover.ai and India’s fifth largest information technology services firm Tech Mahindra have partnered to develop and take India-origin AI solutions to global markets, the companies announced on Tuesday.

The partnership will combine CoRover’s BharatGPT, a generative AI platform focused on Indian languages and use cases, with Tech Mahindra’s Project Indus, a multilingual language model for Indian languages. The companies will also work with Tech Mahindra’s TechM Orion platform.

The partnership will focus on sovereign AI, enterprise AI, agentic AI, and digital public infrastructure, with applications for enterprises, governments, and public institutions across industries and geographies.


The companies did not disclose financial details or targets for deployments and revenue.

“This partnership gives us an opportunity to combine our AI platforms with Tech Mahindra’s technology, engineering depth, and execution capabilities,” said Ankush Sabharwal, co-founder, CoRover.ai.

“India has demonstrated its ability to create meaningful AI innovation. The next opportunity is to translate that innovation into solutions that can be adopted at scale by enterprises, governments, and institutions,” said Nikhil Malhotra, chief AI and innovation officer, Tech Mahindra.
