Asian Games 2026: Indian men's 4x100m medley relay team finishes last

Tokyo: Indian swimming's listless campaign continued on Tuesday as the men's 4x100m medley relay team finished at the bottom in the final at the Asian Games here.

The quartet of Utkarsh Patil, Danush Suresh, Rohit Benedicton and Akash Mani clocked 3:44.26 to finish eighth, a whopping 16.37 seconds behind gold medallists China, who won in 3:27.89.

The Indian team had fared better in the heats, clocking 3:40.41 to finish seventh among 16 teams and qualify for the final.

Earlier in the day, Aryan Nehra finished fourth in the men's 1500m freestyle Final B with a time of 15:34.71.
