Vaibhav Sooryavanshi jumps 230 spots to career-best 48th in ICC T20I rankings

India batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has climbed 230 places to reach a career-best 48th position in the latest ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings after a strong start to his international career. The 15-year-old was named Player of the Series after scoring 151 runs at an average of 50.33 in India's 3-0 T20I series win over Zimbabwe in Harare.

Sooryavanshi now has 536 rating points in the T20I batting rankings. India teammate Ishan Kishan continues to hold the top spot after reaching a career-best 916 rating points following his 81-run knock in the second T20I against Zimbabwe.

Kishan finished the series with 910 points but remains ahead of Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan, who is second with 848 points. Kishan's career-best rating is among the highest recorded in T20I cricket, behind only India's Abhishek Sharma (931) and England's Dawid Malan (919), according to the ICC.

India's Tilak Varma moved up two places to sixth in the batting rankings, while Shreyas Iyer climbed seven spots to 24th. Spinner Ravi Bishnoi also made a significant move, rising 31 places to 41st among T20I bowlers after taking three wickets in the Zimbabwe series.

Zimbabwe's Ryan Burl gained six spots to move to joint 85th among T20I batters, while fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani climbed 10 places to 26th in the bowling rankings.

In the ODI rankings, Shubman Gill returned to the No. 1 position among batters after New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell missed the recent series against the West Indies. Mitchell had held the top spot since January.

Namibia spinner Bernard Scholtz moved up five places to seventh among ODI bowlers after his performances in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series in Utrecht.

In the Test rankings, West Indies all-rounder Justin Greaves made notable gains after his performance against Pakistan in Trinidad. He moved up 21 places to 48th among Test bowlers and rose eight spots to ninth among Test all-rounders. Jayden Seales climbed five places to 24th among Test bowlers, while Pakistan batter Babar Azam moved up four places to 15th after scoring his 32nd Test half-century.
