Iranian envoy questions UN platform for Netanyahu after ‘notorious criminal’ remark
Iran’s UN envoy Amir Saeid Iravani questioned why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was given a platform at the 81st United Nations General Assembly, saying the UN was founded to preserve peace and uphold justice, not to provide a platform for “war criminals.”
