According to the Lok Sabha's List of Business, Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh will move the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, for consideration and passage. The legislation seeks to amend the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 to further strengthen the legal framework against paper leaks and examination malpractices.
The Lower House will also hold Question Hour, followed by the laying of papers by Union ministers, presentation of reports by the Standing Committee on Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, statements on the implementation of parliamentary committee recommendations, and a motion for the election of a Lok Sabha member to the AIIMS Guwahati governing body.
In the Rajya Sabha, Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi is scheduled to introduce the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (Amendment) Bill, 2026, which seeks to amend the MSME Development Act, 2006. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also move the Prevention of Insults to National Honour (Amendment) Bill, 2026 for consideration and passage.

The anti-paper leak Bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Monday amid sloganeering by Opposition members protesting alleged police action against students during the July 20 'Sansad Chalo' demonstration, after which the House was adjourned till 2 pm. The Bill aims to tighten provisions to curb unfair means in public examinations following a series of alleged paper leak incidents across the country.
