Speaking on the sidelines of a function in Srinagar on Wednesday, Abdullah said he had not heard Modi or Jaishankar speaking on the situation in PoK, where several people have allegedly been killed in the violence during the ongoing election. "I request the PM and foreign minister that they keep saying PoK is part of India. If it is part of your country, then why don't you talk about it?" Abdullah asked.
"Why don't you speak and urge that whatever is going on there should be stopped immediately?" Abdullah also urged the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to go to PoK and see what their problems are and try to address them.
