Deadlock over NEET continues: 'Need to get Parliament back on track,' says Shashi Tharoor

Delhi: Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said the Opposition is likely to participate in the debate on the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, calling it an important discussion. He said Parliament must get “back on track” and ensure the concerns of India’s youth are heard. Tharoor said MPs must examine whether the Bill goes far enough and discuss how to address wider systemic problems in the examination system. Meanwhile, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra criticised BJP-NDA MPs for welcoming former Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan in Parliament, calling it “shameful” given the circumstances of his resignation.
