Budget 2012 disappointing, inflationary: Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh CM
Budget 2012 had once again exposed the Centre's anti-poor and anti-weaker section attitude, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.
"The Union Budget presented by the Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee is disappointing and inflationary as the excise duty and service tax were raised to 12 per cent from the present 10 per cent," Chouhan said in his reaction here.

The budget had once again exposed the Centre's anti-poor and anti-weaker section attitude, he added.
Chouhan also said that lack of strong political will and uncertainty in policies had resulted in 1.5 per cent decline in growth rate, which was a matter of concern.
The decline in industrial growth too was worrying, he added.
