Vikrant Massey's Mumbai home has a 180-degree Arabian Sea view, and the actor has said the balcony overlooking it is his favourite spot in the house.

The home, located on Madh Island on the western outskirts of Mumbai, is where Massey lives with his wife, actor Sheetal Thakur. The couple moved in in 2020 and shared their first public glimpse of the space in 2021 during their griha pravesh puja.

Madh Island sits at the edge of Mumbai, separated from the city's density by a creek and connected by a short ferry ride. It is known for its quieter pace, fishing villages and open coastline, and has over the years drawn several film industry residents looking for space away from the noise of the mainland.

Massey and Thakur's home sits facing the Arabian Sea, offering what Massey has described as an unobstructed 180-degree view of the water.

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Massey said: "My balcony. I have the sea right in front of me. It's a 180-degree sea view where I see nature's art every single day. My balcony is the best place to appreciate art right now."

The balcony is fitted with glass panels that keep the view uninterrupted, along with potted plants and iron chairs. Massey has repeatedly described it as his personal sanctuary, a place he returns to for quiet amid a schedule that has remained busy since the success of 12th Fail in 2023.

Boho Interior Design Inside the House

The drawing room follows a bohemian design theme, a style built around layered textures, natural materials, handcrafted elements and an absence of rigid formality. Earthy tones run through the space, complemented by marble flooring, comfortable modern furniture and handcrafted decor pieces. The result, as visible in images the couple has shared, sits between rustic and contemporary without committing fully to either.

Bohemian interiors, often called boho, draw from a mix of global influences and tend to favour warmth over minimalism. Natural fibres, woven textiles, indoor plants and artisan objects are common features of the style, and the Massey household appears to follow that sensibility closely.

Dining Area, Selfie Corner and Workout Room

The dining area is anchored by a chocolate-brown wooden table paired with nude-toned chairs. Metal pendant lights hang above, adding what the couple have described as a warm and intimate atmosphere to shared meals.

Beyond the main living spaces, the home also has a dedicated selfie corner, a reference to the couple's well-documented habit of posting mirror selfies on social media, and a workout room for maintaining fitness around their professional schedules.

Massey and Thakur met on the sets of the web series Broken But Beautiful and married in 2023. The couple have a son together.

Thakur is an actor known for her work in Broken But Beautiful and Escaype Live, among other projects.
