The interview comes at an interesting time. Vijay's family has been the subject of constant online chatter, especially during his election campaign, when unverified reports claimed Jason had even switched to using his mother's surname. Jason and his family never addressed those claims directly, until now, choosing instead to talk about real memories rather than rumours.

Jason called his father's win as Chief Minister a "historic revolution" for the family, adding that it comes with a bigger duty to protect what they have built together. Asked if he inherited his father's famous dance moves, Jason kept it modest, insisting he is not a natural dancer and asking not to be compared with Vijay.Jason Sanjau Career Plan: Direction, Not Acting
For now, acting is off the table. Jason said his focus is entirely on directing, starting with 'Sigma,' which stars Sundeep Kishan and marks his debut behind the camera. He will also make a brief on-screen appearance in one of the film's songs.
