• Place a wooden plank and install idols of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati on it.
• Light a diya using desi ghee along with incense sticks to create a sacred atmosphere.
• Devotees may also recite the Shiva Chalisa and listen to or read the Shravan Maas Katha, which is considered highly auspicious.
• Visit a nearby Shiva temple and perform abhishek by offering Panchamrit to the Shivling.
• Panchamrit is a sacred mixture made of milk, curd, sugar, honey, and ghee.
