Khan, who is currently pursuing studies at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, said education remains important despite his entrepreneurial success.
During the podcast hosted by Shreya Hegde, Khan spoke about balancing academics with running his company and said he continues to learn and apply those lessons to his business.
Building digital presence key for entrepreneurs
Sharing advice for young entrepreneurs, Khan emphasised the importance of developing a digital identity and building confidence through small business efforts.He suggested that aspiring founders should begin by selling a skill, service or advice, even at a small value, as it helps build confidence and experience.
Khan also highlighted the role of online presence, describing content as a form of digital currency and saying that people without an online presence risk becoming less visible.
Zedital Media's branding and marketing services
Khan attributed his financial success to his company, Zedital Media, which operates in the media advertising and branding space.He said the company provides branding and personal branding services, along with meme marketing and content distribution.
The firm also offers specialised services including Online Reputation Management (ORM), Content Distribution Management (CDM) and LinkedIn profile amplification management.
From NEET preparation to entrepreneurship
Khan said entrepreneurship was not always his planned career path. Coming from a middle-class family, he initially faced expectations of becoming a doctor and prepared for the NEET medical entrance examination.During Class 12, he began working with YouTube channels and later took up freelance projects. One early opportunity with a California-based influencer helped him earn ₹1.24 lakh.
He eventually shifted from NEET preparation to journalism and mass communication after receiving support from his parents. He started his journey with a Canon 80D camera and later built a production house.
Claims first crore in 2023
Khan said he earned his first crore in 2023, when he was 22 years old. He added that he expanded Zedital Media by reinvesting earnings into the business.Despite his achievements, Khan said he identified academics as an area where he wanted to improve, which led him to enrol at IIM Bangalore.
He also advised young people to avoid impulsive spending, while describing money as a tool that helps individuals achieve their goals.
