Reddy was initially admitted to a private hospital in Hanamkonda following the heart attack. He was later moved to Hyderabad through Green Channel clearance due to the requirement for specialised treatment. Medical experts from Delhi and Mumbai were consulted during his treatment.

Despite efforts by doctors, Reddy died around midnight on Thursday.
