Kangana Ranaut's Rs 30 crore Manali mansion, perched 2,000 metres above sea level in the Himalayas, features eight bedrooms, a rooftop glass conservatory, a dedicated yoga room, and mountain views from every room in the house.

The actor, who is also a BJP Member of Parliament, reportedly invested Rs 10 crore in the property following the success of her 2014 film Queen and added another Rs 20 crore over the years to develop it into its current form, according to DNA. She announced the home on Instagram in January 2018 with the caption: "Look what Kangana Ranaut gifted herself on the New Year."

The mansion was designed by interior designer Shabnam Gupta and was featured in the May/June 2017 issue of Architectural Digest India.

Speaking to Architectural Digest, Kangana said she gave Gupta complete creative freedom over the interiors, with one exception. "I gave Shabnam carte blanche, except for the timber ceiling in the living room, which I took a picture of in New York and sent to her," she said.

The property spans approximately 7,600 square feet and is built in a cottage style with sloping roofs, according to MagicBricks. Unlike the white farmhouse aesthetic common in western retreats, the mansion is finished in a royal grey exterior, setting it apart from the green and red rooftops of neighbouring properties. Snow-capped peaks are visible from the home.

Kangana Ranaut Glass Conservatory and Interiors

A source close to the actor told DNA that the house has eight bedrooms, each with windows opening to mountain views and individual step-out balconies. "There is a rooftop glass conservatory, so that there is ample sunlight during the winters," the source said.

The glass conservatory is connected to the living room and is enclosed entirely in glass, including the walls and ceiling, offering an uninterrupted view of the surrounding mountains. Seating has been placed inside to allow guests to use the space.

The living room features the timber ceiling Kangana personally referenced, with multiple windows allowing natural light in throughout the day. Two sofas are arranged on a floral rug, and an ornate chandelier completes the space, according to MagicBricks.

The mansion also has a yoga room with hardwood flooring and a vaulted concrete ceiling, a wooden staircase, family photographs displayed through the house, and a compact bar area painted in pastel green with pendant lighting.

Kangana Ranaut Bedroom and Victorian Interiors

The master bedroom follows an all-white palette with Victorian-era detailing. Standout elements include an accent wooden chair with a gold finish, rani-pink accents, a customised dresser, elaborated bed frame, and bedside lamps sourced from different locations and customised for the space, as reported by MagicBricks.

Kangana told Architectural Digest that she had originally envisioned the property as a personal retreat. "I thought this would be a retreat, but it's the ultimate party house," she said, adding that her father helped supervise the purchase and renovation.

Kangana Ranaut Real Estate and Net Worth

Beyond Manali, Kangana has made several other property investments.

She purchased a 407 square foot commercial office space on the 19th floor of Arch One in Andheri, Mumbai, for Rs 1.56 crore in August 2024, according to property registration documents accessed by Propstack. The transaction was registered at Rs 38,391 per square foot on carpet area, with stamp duty of Rs 9.37 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.

She also owns agricultural land in Himachal Pradesh, which media reports say she has been developing as a self-sustainable estate with gardens, orchards, and traditional Himachali architecture. Additionally, she is reported to have gifted a flat worth Rs 4 crore in a high-end locality near Chandigarh airport to her siblings, including her sister Rangoli Chandel and brother Aksht.

Kangana's net worth is estimated at around Rs 95 crore, according to Bollywoodshaadis.com. Her car collection, as reported by MagicBricks, includes a Mercedes GLE 350D SUV, a BMW 7 Series 730LD, an Audi Q3, and a Maybach S-Class valued at approximately Rs 3.6 crore.
