India and Sri Lanka are set to face each other in a two-match Test series from August 15 to August 27, 2026. The opening Test will take place at the Galle International Cricket Stadium, while the second match will be held at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo. With Test veterans Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma having retired from the format, Shubman Gill will lead a new-look Indian Test team.
