India Post is hiring car driver with a salary of up to Rs 63,200; check eligibility, age limit and how to apply

The Department of Posts has invited applications for Staff Car Driver positions under its Mail Motor Service (MMS) in Bengaluru. A total of 11 vacancies are available, and candidates must apply offline within 60 days from the advertisement’s publication in Employment News.

India Post Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed under Pay Level-2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, with a monthly salary ranging from Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200, along with applicable government allowances.

India Post Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Have passed Class 10 from a recognised board
• Hold a valid driving licence for light and heavy motor vehicles
• At least three years of driving experience
• Have basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance

India Post Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 56 years as of the application closing date. Eligible Armed Forces personnel nearing retirement may also apply.
