ICAI CA January 2027 exam dates released at icai.nic.in: Check intermediate, foundation timetable, registration dates, fees and exam timings

The ICAI CA (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) released their exam date schedule for 2027. For both intermediate and foundation exams the timetable has been released. The official website for ICAI CA is http://icai.org and students who will appear for the exams can check the official schedule there.

CA Exam 2026: Check Intermediate And Foundation Exam Dates And Timings

As per the announced schedule, the CA Intermediate examination will be conducted on January 2, 4 and 6 for Group I, followed by Group II papers on January 8, 10 and 12. All Intermediate papers will be held in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The CA Foundation examination is scheduled for January 3, 5, 7 and 9, 2026. Papers 1 and 2 will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, while Papers 3 and 4 will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm.

ICAI CA January 2027 Registration Dates And Application Fee

The registration window for the ICAI CA January 2027 examinations will open on November 3, 2026, and candidates can submit their applications until November 16, 2026.

For the Intermediate course, the examination fee is ₹1,500 for a single group and ₹2,700 for both groups. Candidates appearing for the Foundation course will have to pay an examination fee of ₹1,500.

CA January 2027 Exam: 15-Minute Reading Time

Candidates will be given 15 minutes of advance reading time from 1:45 pm to 2 pm for applicable papers before the examination begins.

However, the advance reading facility will not be available for Foundation Papers 3 and 4. Candidates are advised to reach their examination centres well before the reporting time mentioned on their admit cards and follow all instructions issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).

Step 3: Enter the required registration details on the new page.

Step 4: Complete the examination application form.

Step 5: Pay the applicable examination fee through the available online payment options.

Step 6: Submit the application and download the confirmation page.

Step 7: Keep a hard copy of the submitted application for future reference.

ICAI Says Exam Dates Will Not Change For Public Holidays

ICAI has also clarified that the notified examination dates will remain unchanged even if any of the scheduled exam days is later declared a public holiday by the Central Government, a state government or local authorities.

Candidates should therefore prepare according to the dates mentioned in the official examination schedule and should not expect the timetable to change because of any subsequent holiday declaration.
