IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: Application deadline extended; check last date to apply, direct link, fee structure, how to apply and important documents

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) registration deadline was earlier on 21st September. Now the date has extended to one week. So now the date has been extended till 27th September.Candidates applying for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, II and III posts can now complete their registration. Applicants can access the registration link through the official IBPS website at ibps.in.

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026: 13,745 Vacancies

The recruitment drive is being conducted for 13,745 vacancies across participating Regional Rural Banks. The posts include Office Assistant (Multipurpose), commonly known as Clerk, as well as Officer Scale-I (PO), Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale-III.

The registration process began on September 1, 2026, and was initially scheduled to close on September 21. The total number of vacancies earlier was announced as 13,706, which was later increased to 13,745. Following the increase in vacancies, the deadline for submitting online applications has also been extended.


The extension allows candidates more time to fill in their details, upload the required documents and pay the application fee through the official website.

How To Apply For IBPS RRB Recruitment 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to complete the online application:

Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.

Step 2: Click on the IBPS RRB Clerk, PO Recruitment 2026 registration link available on the homepage.

Step 3: A new page will open where candidates need to enter the required registration details.

Step 4: After completing registration, log in to the account.

Step 5: Fill out the application form and pay the applicable application fee.

Step 6: Click on the submit button.

Step 7: Download the submitted application page and keep a hard copy for future reference.

IBPS RRB Application Fee

For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the application fee is ₹175 for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I, II and III posts.

For candidates belonging to other categories, the application fee is ₹850.

The payment can be made through Debit Cards, including RuPay, Visa, MasterCard and Maestro, as well as Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards and Mobile Wallets.

How Many Posts Can A Candidate Apply For IBPS

Candidates can apply for the Office Assistant (Multipurpose) post and can also apply for an officer post.

However, candidates can apply for only one post under the officer cadre. This means an applicant can choose either Officer Scale-I, Officer Scale-II or Officer Scale-III.
