How a chole bhature stall sold 441 plates in four days, turning a ₹10,000 idea into ₹10,530 profit

How one small business idea can change the way you earn and live. In a post on X, user Ankit Pandey that he came across a man’s situation through his house caretaker and then he decided to help him get his business idea into reality.

Ankit wrote "Went to my hometown and while talking to my house caretaker, he told me his brother was jobless. He asked me if I could help arrange a job for him. His brother had earlier worked at a dhaba but was currently unemployed."

He further said that he met the person to help his business idea. “Instead, I met him, shared a simple business idea, found him a spot outside the tehsil, gave him ₹10,000 to get started, arranged raw materials and helped him get a Paytm Soundbox for digital payments.”



It all began with selling chole bhature for 30 rs per plate. One day 1 the person sold 73 plates, day 2 101 plates, day 3 120 plates and day 4 with 147 plates.

Priced at Rs 30 per plate, the total sales amounted to Rs 13,230. Pandey stated that the cost of raw materials over the four days was Rs 2,700, resulting in a gross profit of Rs 10,530.

He further said “At this pace, he could make around ₹68–70K/month and ₹8L+ a year, if sales remain consistent.”

He ended the post by saying "Sometimes people don't need a job. They need an opportunity to build something of their own."
