Gemini helps Bengaluru CEO draft complaint after road-rage incident, what happens next stuns netizens

Bengaluru CEO Siddharth Dialani has shared how he used Google's Gemini after an alleged road-rage incident in the city, saying the AI tool helped him prepare a strongly worded complaint and advised him to obtain a written acknowledgement from the police. According to Dialani, the matter eventually ended with the biker writing an apology and paying for the damage to his car.

Recounting the incident on X, Dialani said he was involved in the road-rage episode a few days earlier and approached the Koramangala police station after deciding to pursue the matter. He credited Gemini with helping him draft the complaint and suggesting that he insist on receiving an acknowledgement of his submission.

Bengaluru CEO describes confrontation with biker

According to Dialani, the incident took place between Sony Signal and Ejipura Signal. He said a biker travelling with his wife believed that Dialani's car had brushed against his motorcycle.

Dialani claimed the biker then made him stop, kicked the side of his car, got back on his motorcycle and rammed the vehicle from behind. He further alleged that the biker overtook him and repeatedly braked in an attempt to intimidate him.

However, Dialani said the encounter had been captured by his car's dashcam.

He subsequently submitted the footage and other evidence to the Koramangala police. According to his account, the officers used the motorcycle's registration number visible in the recording to identify the biker and obtained his phone number from their database.

Dashcam footage helped identify biker

Dialani said the biker was called to the police station and initially maintained that Dialani had hit his motorcycle first. The CEO said he then showed him photographs of the damage and referred to the possibility of an FIR and criminal case.

According to Dialani, the biker subsequently understood the seriousness of the situation and agreed to write an apology letter and compensate him for the damage.

"The entire matter was resolved without any bribe! The Koramangala police was very professional and cooperative," Dialani wrote.

He also shared a photograph showing the dent to his car, saying he had initially considered letting the incident go but changed his mind after seeing the extent of the damage.

‘Gemini is my lawyer now’

Dialani said Gemini played a role before he approached the police by helping him formulate the complaint and advising him to seek written acknowledgement from the station.

He also highlighted the importance of his dashcam, which provided video evidence of the incident.

The account prompted discussions on X about both dashcams and AI tools. One user argued that dashcams should become standard vehicle safety equipment, while another simply commented on "the power of a dash cam" alongside Gemini.

Others shared their own experiences of using AI tools for disputes and paperwork. One user said ChatGPT had helped draft a strongly worded email that assisted in recovering a rental deposit, while another joked that Claude Code could have handled the entire case.

The incident was described by Dialani in a social-media post, and the claims about the confrontation and its resolution have not been independently verified.
