What the Coimbatore company did
“My sister works for a traditional company that was built out of Coimbatore,” Babuurajan wrote in his post.He said the company covered 20% of his father's medical expenses, provided his sister with more than four weeks of leave after his death and had its chairman personally message her to check on her wellbeing.
“Mind you, the company has existed for 50+ years, exports to 40+ countries, and has over 4,000 employees. No wonder our parents were so loyal to their employers,” he wrote.
Netizens praise company's employee support
Although the company was not identified, the post drew appreciation from people who praised the employer's response to the employee's loss.“Very impressed to know that the employer really cares for the employee,” one user commented.
