Bittu Tabahi cleans Gurugram after Delhi’s Yamuna: 2,435 Kg waste removed from Khedki Daula, Noida the final stop of #CleanWithBittu drive

Surendra Singh Choudhry, popularly known as Bittu Tabahi, has expanded his cleanup campaign across the Delhi-NCR region. After collecting 585 kg of waste from a stretch of the Yamuna in Delhi, Bittu and his team moved to Gurugram’s Khedki Daula for the second phase of the drive.

The team removed 2,435 kg of waste from the area during the Gurugram cleanup. The three-day #CleanWithBittu campaign will now conclude in Noida, with Yuva Shakti Ghat in Sector 94 selected as the final location.

Plastic Waste At Khedki Daula Raises Concern

A video shared by Bittu on Instagram shows him arriving at Khedki Daula with his team and immediately beginning the cleanup. The area was covered with plastic and other discarded waste.

While highlighting the condition of the stretch, Bittu pointed out that the issue goes beyond the appearance of the area. He said the plastic mixed with the garbage can be eaten by cows, posing a serious risk to the animals.

The video captures the team collecting waste from the littered stretch before showing the area looking considerably cleaner after the cleanup.

#CleanWithBittu Campaign To End In Noida

Bittu shared an update about the three-day campaign on Instagram, explaining that the drive began on Sunday, World Cleanup Day.

“Jaisa ki aap dekh sakte hain, humne apni #CleanWithBittu cleanup journey Sunday, World Cleanup Day se shuru ki thi,” he wrote.

He said the team had completed the Delhi and Gurugram legs of the campaign and would now complete the final phase in Noida. The last cleanup has been announced at Yuva Shakti Ghat in Sector 94, Noida, from 6 am onwards.

From Delhi To Gurugram, Thousands Of Kilograms Of Waste Collected

The NCR campaign began in Delhi on September 20, when Bittu and his team collected 585 kg of waste from the Yamuna. The cleanup then moved to Gurugram on September 21, where another 2,435 kg of waste was removed from Khedki Daula.

Bittu has also previously carried out a cleanup along the Yamuna, where he spent around 4.5 hours removing 545 kg of waste. That effort later attracted attention online.

Bittu Tabahi’s Earlier Cleanup Campaigns

He and his team first gained wider attention after taking up the cleanup of the heavily polluted Ajnar River in Madhya Pradesh.

With Noida set to be the final stop, Bittu’s latest three-city campaign is focused on removing accumulated waste from public spaces across Delhi-NCR.
