'Zero illegals crossing our border...': Hegseth presents medal honouring Mexican border defense
US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, speaking at a Pentagon ceremony, said the Mexican Border Defense Medal was originally established in 1918 to honour those who defended the US against incursions and invasions. Hegseth said the US has revived the same medal to recognise today’s service members, praising them for taking on difficult missions in challenging locations.
