US immigration crackdown | ICE begins tracking Haitian immigrants with ankle monitors after TPS ends

The Trump administration has begun requiring some Haitian immigrants in Ohio to report to ICE offices, where many have reportedly been fitted with ankle monitors as deportation proceedings move forward following the termination of Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The move comes after the U.S. Supreme Court allowed the administration to proceed with ending TPS protections, and a federal judge formally cleared the way for those protections to expire for hundreds of thousands of Haitian nationals.
