U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday (October 22) defended a controversial campaign advertisement featuring the estranged mother of Ohio Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton, dismissing criticism of the ad backed by Republican rival Vivek Ramaswamy. "I know nothing about it. All I know is that mother said very bad things about Acton," Trump told reporters outside the White House. "If it's even a little bit true you don't want her as governor," he added.
