'Don’t want to kill people...': Trump says Iran sought halt to 'biggest attack' since WWII

President Trump stated he prefers a deal with Iran to avoid conflict. He claimed Iran requested talks after the United States prepared for a major strike. The US president reiterated that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons. He also compared US actions in Iran to those in Venezuela. Trump suggested Iran would be wise to reach an agreement soon.
