The White House has entered the world of round-the-clock digital streaming with the launch of 'TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station', a new 24/7 video feed featuring President Donald Trump and his administration. Launched Monday, the platform brings presidential speeches, major announcements, past highlights and administration updates together in one continuous stream. The White House says the service will be updated in real time, giving viewers another way to follow the administration directly. Trump TV is streaming through the White House’s digital platforms, including its official website and YouTube presence. The launch also comes amid a dispute over White House media access, with CNN, MS NOW and Politico filing a federal lawsuit after their access was revoked.

"IT'S LIVE. TRUMP TV IS STREAMING NOW. 24/7, updated in real time, with top past moments, announcements, and the latest and greatest from the administration all in one place. Not every big moment has made it on your tv, now it can," the White House posted on X while announcing the launch.

WHAT IS TRUMP TV AND WHAT CAN VIEWERS WATCH?

Trump TV is essentially a continuous digital video channel rather than a traditional television network. Its official name is 'TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station'. According to the White House, viewers can expect top videos, presidential remarks, major announcements and notable moments from the administration, with programming running 24 hours a day. The stream launched at 7 PM ET on Monday.

WHY HAS TRUMP TV BEEN LAUNCHED NOW?

The timing has attracted attention because Trump TV arrived amid an escalating dispute between the White House and several news organizations. CNN, MS NOW and Politico filed a lawsuit Monday challenging the administration’s decision to revoke their White House access, arguing that the restrictions violate constitutional protections. The administration disputes that position.


Meanwhile, several major television networks suspended their participation in White House television pool coverage after CNN was prevented from carrying out an assigned pool duty. Against that backdrop, Trump TV provides the administration with a direct channel for distributing its own video content without relying on traditional news broadcasts.
