Looksmaxxing influencer Clavicular faces rape, drugging and providing alcohol to minor charges in Massachusetts: What we know about the case

Online streamer and “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, is facing three criminal charges in Massachusetts, according to court documents reported by The Bulwark. The allegations concern an incident that prosecutors say occurred in May 2025. Peters has not been convicted, and his representative disputes how the status of the case has been characterized.

According to court documents obtained by The Bulwark, prosecutors filed one count each of rape, drugging a person for sexual intercourse and providing alcohol to a minor at a Cape Cod-area courthouse on September 8. His arraignment is scheduled for October 14, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Massachusetts criminal case appears to be connected to allegations made in a separate Florida civil lawsuit filed earlier this year. However, it is not clear whether all the claims in that lawsuit are part of the Massachusetts case. The Bulwark said it could not obtain further court records detailing the circumstances behind the criminal charges.

What does the Florida lawsuit allege?

In April, 18-year-old content creator Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who uses the name Alorah Ziva, sued Peters in Miami-Dade County. According to CBS Miami, the complaint accused him of battery, fraud, intentional infliction of emotional distress and unauthorized use of her name and likeness.

The lawsuit alleges that Mendoza was a minor during some of the events described in the complaint. It also alleges that Peters injected her with Aqualyx, a fat-dissolving substance, during a livestream without her consent. The complaint further alleges that she experienced nonconsensual sexual encounters at Peters’ family home in Cape Cod while intoxicated.

Peters has disputed the allegations. His attorney previously said the claims were allegations that remained unproven and that Peters intended to defend himself through legal channels.

Peters says he has not been served

Following the latest report, Peters’ representative told The Hollywood Reporter that Peters had not been physically served with the Massachusetts charges: “Clavicular has not been physically served. As usual, the Bulwark is exaggerating the status of a case to boost traffic.”

Peters also posted material on X that he said came from Mendoza following the alleged incident, arguing that it contradicted her allegations. In a letter reportedly sent by Mendoza to Peters, she thanked him for “helping me as much as you have been.”

He also shared a video in which Mendoza appeared to describe the Aqualyx injection positively and called Peters “super nice,” adding that he had arranged an Uber for her afterward, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Clavicular's other legal troubles

The Massachusetts case comes after several other legal controversies involving Peters in 2026. In March, he was arrested in Florida on a battery warrant connected to an Osceola County investigation into a fight involving two women. Prosecutors later dropped those charges in August, according to WFTV, which reported that prosecutors determined they could not prove the case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Peters also faced charges of unlawfully discharging a firearm in Florida after a video appeared to show him and other influencers shooting an alligator in the Everglades. CBS Miami reported that Peters and fellow influencer Andrew Morales later pleaded no contest in the case.
