Unidentified militants shot dead two more Naga villagers and injured two others in Manipur's Senapati district on Saturday, police officials said.
Guwahati: Suspected militants shot dead two people belonging to the Naga community at Kalenjang in Manipur's Senapati district on Saturday. Two others were injured.
"The incident took place around 3 p.m. at Kalenjang, near Taphou Naga village. The victims are identified as belonging to the Mao Naga community," a senior police officer said.

The incident follows another on Thursday, when four Naga civilians were shot dead by suspected militants near Pilong village in Kamjong district, close to the Myanmar border. The bodies of the men, belonging to the Tangkhul Naga community, were recovered in the early hours of Friday.
In another incident, more than 41 houses were set ablaze, allegedly by militants. A church and some public structures were also razed during the attacks on three villages - Makui Chamriupui, Makui Thanamba and Makui Thebram - in Kangpokpi district on Wednesday and until the early hours of Thursday.
