PM Modi congratulates Naorem Roshibina Devi for her third straight Asian Games medal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Naorem Roshibina Devi on winning silver in the women's Sanda 60kg event at the Asian Games, praising her consistency, courage and determination.

In a post on X, Modi said the achievement was noteworthy as it marked her third consecutive Asian Games medal. He also wished her the best for all her future endeavours.

Roshibina won bronze at the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games before claiming silver at the 2023 Hangzhou edition. Her latest silver in Aichi-Nagoya extends her medal-winning run to three consecutive Games.

The Indian wushu athlete finished second in the women's Sanda 60kg final, securing another podium finish at the continental event.
