The move comes as tensions continue in several districts of Nepal after deadly communal clashes erupted in Sunsari district in Koshi Province last weekend.

Deadly clashes trigger curfews in Nepal
The violence reportedly began following a dispute over the use of loudspeakers during celebrations by two religious communities.According to officials cited by news agency PTI, at least three people were killed and dozens were injured in the clashes and subsequent police firing.
In response, Nepalese authorities imposed curfews, prohibitory orders and increased security deployment in the affected areas. On Friday, an indefinite curfew was also enforced in parts of Saptari district in Madhesh Province, which borders India.
Bihar police increase vigil along border
As a precautionary measure, police in Madhubani district have intensified security arrangements to maintain law and order along the international border.According to an official statement, surveillance has been strengthened, with vehicle checks and search operations being conducted on both major and alternative border routes.
Additional security personnel have also been deployed at police stations located near the border.
Public urged to remain vigilant
Police have appealed to residents to follow administrative instructions, avoid believing or spreading rumours, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.
