Details are coming out, will study at appropriate time, says Goyal on Lindsey Graham Act impact

Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal says on the Lindsey O. Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act of 2026 that "details are currently coming out" and "we will study them and discuss them with you at an appropriate time" regarding its impact on India, and on the India-New Zealand FTA that "whatever goods are exported from India to New Zealand, import duty will no longer be levied on 100% of the goods" and "all our exports will reach New Zealand duty-free" while New Zealand has committed "$20 billion in India as Foreign Direct Investment" and "we have not granted any market access concessions in sectors sensitive to India" including dairy.
