BJP MP Nishikant Dubey raises questions over UK company Backops Limited and alleged MP connection

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Tuesday said he would make a disclosure in Parliament regarding a UK-registered company allegedly linked to an Indian politician, sparking speculation over the identity of the person he was referring to.

In a post on X, Dubey questioned the ownership and associations of Backops Limited, a UK-based company, and sought details about its links with individuals named Brian Lovegrove and Ulrik McKnight.

"Which Indian politician is a director in Backops Limited (UK)? Which companies have their address at 2 Frognal Way, London NW3 6XE? What is the connection of that Indian neta with Brian Lovegrove and Ulrik McKnight? Everything will be revealed inside Parliament," Dubey posted on X.


Speaking to reporters at the Parliament complex, the Godda MP further alleged that Lovegrove and McKnight, who he claimed were associated with Backops Limited, were linked to hundreds of companies, including some television channels, registered at the same address.

Dubey alleged that the common registration address raised questions about the nature of Backops Limited and its operations.

The BJP MP also claimed that the Indian politician he was referring to had registered Backops Limited in the UK in 2003.

"I intend to raise all these matters in Parliament: Who is this MP, and how did they register this company? What is their relationship with Lovegrove and McKnight, and what role does '2 Frognal Way' play in the 'tukde-tukde gang'?" Dubey said.

Dubey's remarks come amid heightened political exchanges, with the BJP leader indicating that the matter would be taken up during parliamentary proceedings. He did not identify the MP allegedly linked to the company.
