The agreements were signed in the presence of Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary in Patna.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister's Office, the proposed investments span the steel, nuclear energy, textile, food processing and pharmaceutical sectors.
The biggest investment proposal came from Global Renewable Advanced Clean Energy (GRACE) Pvt Ltd, which signed an MoU for a Rs 22,500-crore project in the nuclear energy sector.
Six MoUs were signed in the steel sector, including with Nakshatra Iron & Steel Pvt Ltd for an investment of Rs 6,836 crore, Ankur Steel Pvt Ltd for Rs 6,000 crore and Shri Langta Baba Metals & Power Ltd for Rs 5,500 crore.
"The government's objective is to rapidly translate investment proposals into projects on the ground to generate industrial growth and employment," Choudhary said.
He said Bihar aims to emerge as one of the country's leading steel hubs through investments in the steel and metal sectors, while also promoting clean and nuclear energy to strengthen the state's energy infrastructure.
The CM identified textiles and apparel as priority sectors because of their labour-intensive nature and employment-generating potential.
He said food processing and pharmaceuticals would also receive special focus to boost economic activity.
Choudhary also reviewed preparations for the upcoming Bihar Business Connect 2026, saying the event would provide a platform for domestic and international investors to explore opportunities in the state.
He said Bihar's industrial development drive would be guided by the theme, "Build and Believe in Bihar".
