Air India Phuket-Delhi flight loses 300 feet mid-air in turbulence; 15 injured, DGCA probes

An Air India A320 operating Phuket-Delhi flight AI2379 experienced a sudden loss of around 300 feet in altitude during mid-air turbulence on Tuesday. The aircraft landed safely at Delhi airport, but DGCA sources said 15 people, including 11 passengers and 4 cabin crew members, were injured. One cabin crew member reportedly suffered severe injuries. The DGCA is investigating the incident, while Air India said it is providing support to those affected.
