He also met representatives of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI), which works to promote business ties between Singapore and India, industries department said in a statement.
ST Engineering, the world's largest airframe MRO service provider, is keen to establish a significant presence in India, Patil said. The delegation highlighted Karnataka's aerospace ecosystem and policy environment during the talks.
Sats, which already runs cargo handling, cold-chain infrastructure, airport logistics and warehousing operations in Bengaluru, has expressed interest in expanding further. Talks are already under way with Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), Patil said.
Sats also plans to set up a training academy in Karnataka to build a skilled workforce for its aviation and logistics operations, he added.

Japfa, which operates in animal feed and food processing, has expressed interest in setting up a feed mill and food-processing plant in the state. Discussions covered potential locations, Patil said.
Thakral Corporation, which has a presence in Bengaluru, shared details of its investment in the drone sector through Skylark Drones, and discussed further collaboration. One of its investee companies is also interested in setting up a manufacturing facility in Karnataka, Patil said.
Industries Department Principal Secretary Selvakumar and other senior officials were part of the Karnataka government delegation.
