Mamata Banerjee meets foreign diplomats keen to invest in West Bengal
Diplomats from the countries like Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Costa Rica and El Salvador met West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee.
After the meeting, Mamata told reporters that these countries had agreed to organise a food and cultural festival in Kolkata during November to attract the people about their products and industry.
"I am very happy with today's meeting with these foreign country diplomats. They are very keen to invest in our state in the sectors like IT, tourism, mining and fruit processing. We will hold talks with them again to speed up the process of investment," Mamata told reporters on Saturday.
