Peshawar: At least three people were injured in a quadcopter attack in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan on Saturday, police said.

The incident occurred in Ghwa Khwah area of Wana tehsil in Lower South Waziristan district of the province.

The injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Wana for treatment, the police added.


The incident comes amid heightened security concerns in the bordering Waziristan area, where militant activity and attacks targeting security forces and civilians have increased in recent months.
