Sustainability is at the core of what Thermax does: Vishal Mehra, Head-Water and Wastewater Business, Thermax

Engineering solutions provider Thermax won the Sustainability Champion award at the Economic Times Family Business Awards.

Accepting the award, Vishal Mehra, vice president and head-water and wastewater business, said Thermax may have started as a boiler maker for hospitals and small industries nearly six decades ago, but it is sustainability that will be at the heart of its future growth plans. “Sustainability is at the core of what Thermax does, and the company will continue to support the transition towards cleaner energy,” he said. Thermax is a global leader in energy and environment solutions, offering heating, cooling, power generation, water treatment and air pollution control, among others.
