Myntra to hire 26,000 temporary workers for festive season, over double last year

New Delhi: Fashion and lifestyle ecommerce company Myntra is creating more than 26,000 temporary job opportunities at its fulfilment centres this festive season, compared with 11,000 during this period last year, the company said.

The hiring comes ahead of Myntra's Big Fashion Festival. Women will account for about one-third of the fulfilment-centre workforce, while more 350 roles will be designated for differently abled individuals, Myntra said in a statement to ET. The temporary workers will be deployed at the company's fulfilment centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bilaspur and Binola (Gurugram), covering sorting, grading, packing, last-mile delivery and customer service.
