Infosys has signed a ten-year strategic agreement with footwear company Crocs. This large transformation deal is estimated to be worth between $200-300 million

Bengaluru: Infosys, India's second largest IT player, has entered into a ten-year strategic agreement with Nasdaq-listed footwear company Crocs to drive business transformation and modernise its IT operations.

The large transformation deal is estimated to be in the range of $200-300 million, a source told ET. Infosys did not disclose the financial details. An email sent by ET to Infosys seeking information remained unanswered till press time.

Typically, top tier IT firms qualify projects of $100 million and above as large deals.

"The long-term collaboration will apply Infosys' AI-first platforms to modernise the global footwear company's core business and IT systems, helping the it simplify operations, reduce costs and scale for the future," Infosys said in a statement. Through the partnership, the Bengaluru-based IT major will aim to deliver scalable solutions across enterprise IT and business operations for Crocs.

"These initiatives will break down operational silos, unify data across the organisation and aim to empower Crocs Inc. with real-time, insight-driven decision-making - accelerating innovation while enhancing efficiency, responsiveness and customer experience," the Infosys statement added.

Prior to this engagement, the US-headquartered casual footwear company had partnered with US-based cloud software products and service provider Infor Nexus (formerly GT Nexus). Engagements with other IT firms could not be ascertained.

The deal will bring revenue to Infosys' retail segment, which accounts for 12.8% of the revenue share as on June end.
