Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mazda Ltd, Ddev Plastiks Ind, Indo Thai Sec, Atlas Cycles and California Soft, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 98.6 points up at 23311.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Noida Toll Bridge Co, Spacenet Enterprise, Lancor Holdings, SVP Global and GTPL Hathway, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Life, BEL, SBI Life, Shriram Finance and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Trent, Dr. Reddys, Tata Consumer, HCL Tech and Wipro ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 318.74 points at 77042.82.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Textiles, Pharmaceuticals, Metals - Ferrous and Tobacco sectors during the day.
