Stock market update: Nifty Realty index 3.17%

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index closed on a note on Friday.
Shares of Sobha Ltd.(up 7.41 per cent), Phoenix Mills Ltd.(up 6.07 per cent), Godrej Properties Ltd.(up 5.64 per cent), Sunteck Realty Ltd.(up 4.0 per cent) and DLF Ltd.(up 3.81 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 3.17 per cent at 1006.25.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended up 557.35 points at 23907.25, while the BSE Sensex stood 1961.32 points at 79117.11.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 49 ended in the green, while 1 closed in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Suzlon Energy, YES Bank, Tata Steel and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Ratnaveer Precision, Supriya Lifescience, Banco Products, Pix Trans and Ganesh Housing hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Adani Transmission, Godavari Biorefineri, Honasa Consumer, P N Gadgil Jewellers and Fourth Dimension Sol hit their fresh 52-week lows.
