Wait and watch to see what leadership model unfolds at Infosys: KR Choksey Securities

In a chat with ET Now, Deven Choksey, MD, KR Choksey Securities, shares his views on Infosys. Excerpt:

ET Now: Infosys has seen eight key level exits in last three months. Could that be dangerous?

Deven Choksey: Yes; on the face of the numbers, it may sound dangerous and one has to be careful about that when one holds the investment. However, the mandate given to NR Narayana Murthy was that wherever the inefficiency or the non-performances is, it needs to be weeded out; thereafter, the company has to be brought back on to the growth track; that is what is happening in the company.

In immediate future, you may see those executives leaving the company where their performance was asked for; that is where the company may see the exodus.

We will have to wait and see as to what kind of model is getting unfolded in the process — what kind of leaders are going to be installing the process.
One needs to be careful about this aspect whether the new level of leadership is emerging in this situation. If it does, then you could see Infosys on a higher growth track going forward.
