Stocks to watch: Bharti Airtel, Tata Power, Reliance Infra, Larsen&Toubro, SEL Manufacturing, Everest
Bharti Airtel held out the possibility of issuing fresh shares or divesting its holding in telecom infrastructure companies to lighten the burden of debt.
Tata Power Company (TPC), which would stop supplying power to Reliance Infrastructure's distribution area in Mumbai, would now start supplying 500 MW of power to Maharashtra from April 1.
The Maharashtra government on Thursday decided that a consortium led by Reliance Infrastructure — a part of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani, or ADA Group — will build a planned sea link between Worli and Haji Ali. The project is estimated at Rs 5000 crore.
Larsen & Toubro’s units are planning to borrow at least Rs 100 billion this year to fund road- building and power projects, said reports.
SEL Manufacturing’s subsidiary SEL Textiles has filed DRHP with SEBI for proposed public offer.
Everest Kanto has received orders for the export of CNG cylinders $5 million.
