Pharma pack looks stable: Hemang Jani

In a chat with ET Now, Hemang Jani, Senior Vice President, Sharekhan, shares his views on the performance of pharma pack

ET Now: Despite the negative breadth that we are seeing in the markets, we continuing to see the pharma pack hold up fairly strongly, within that space would you recommend anything?

Hemang Jani: Pharma is something that has remained stable throughout the last couple of years and most of the companies have reported reasonably good set of numbers and the visibility also continues to be good and what we like in pharma at this point of time is Sun Pharma definitely because great quality balance sheet, good product pipeline and also this Taro issue is also to a great extent resolved. Also, something like an Aurobindo Pharma which corrected because of some concerns on their research centre where the enforcement director has kind of attach the property, is not a big issue as such because the penalty that we are looking at is not more than about 10 to 15 crore so these are the two stocks that we like in the pharma space at this point of time.
