In a solid stock market debut, shares of Indo-MIM listed at 44.95% premium over the IPO price on Thursday. The stock opened at Rs 703 and Rs 700 on the BSE and NSE, respectively, as compared to its issue price of Rs 485.

The Rs 3,811.21 crore public issue was priced at Rs 485 per share and comprised a fresh issue of Rs 499.10 crore along with an offer for sale (OFS) of Rs 3,311.21 crore. Before the IPO, the company also secured Rs 1,140.99 crore from anchor investors.

The IPO, which was open for subscription between July 23 and July 27, witnessed exceptional investor participation, closing with an overall subscription of 98.47 times.

Institutional investors led the charge, with the Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIB) category subscribed an impressive 296.13 times. The Non-Institutional Investor (NII) segment was subscribed 50.63 times, while the Retail Individual Investor (RII) portion attracted a healthy 6.67 times subscription.

The shares were offered in a price band of Rs 461-485 apiece.

How Indo-MIM Plans to Use the IPO Funds

From the fresh issue proceeds, the company intends to allocate Rs 400 crore toward the repayment or prepayment of certain outstanding borrowings. The remaining funds will be utilized for general corporate purposes, helping strengthen the company's balance sheet and support future expansion.

Financial Performance

Indo-MIM delivered a strong financial performance in FY26, supported by healthy growth in both revenue and profitability.

Total income rose 28.1% year-on-year to Rs 4,320.70 crore, compared with Rs 3,373.97 crore in FY25.

Profit after tax (PAT) increased 25.9% to Rs 533.54 crore, up from Rs 423.73 crore in the previous financial year.
