Astra Microwave shares fell sharply after weaker Q1 earnings showed declining profit, revenue and EBITDA, alongside an upcoming managing director transition.
Following the results announcement, Astra Microwave shares declined as much as 8.96% to Rs 1,675 during intraday deals. The stock has fallen 14.54% from its 52-week high of Rs 1,960 apiece, touched on July 31, 2026. However, it has gained 75.48% year-to-date, according to exchange data.
The counter continued to trade under pressure during the session. At 2:57 PM on Monday, Astra Microwave shares were quoted at Rs 1,727.70 apiece, down 6.10% from the previous close. At the same time, the benchmark NSE Nifty50 was at 24,555, down 15 points, or 0.06%.

Astra Microwave Q1FY27 Results
According to the exchange filing submitted by the company, profit attributable to the owners declined 24.10% to Rs 12.34 crore in Q1FY27, compared with Rs 16.26 crore reported in Q1FY26 on a consolidated basis.
Revenue from operations also declined to Rs 176.66 crore during the quarter under review, down 11.54% year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 199.72 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Astra Microwave's total expenses fell 8.97% YoY to Rs 166.3 crore from Rs 182.7 crore.
The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined 17.6% to Rs 33.7 crore from Rs 41 crore in the year-ago quarter.
Meanwhile, the EBITDA margin stood at 19%, compared with 20.4% a year earlier.
Astra Microwave announces management change
Astra Microwave also informed the exchanges that S. Gurunatha Reddy will cease to be the Managing Director and Director of the company with effect from the close of business hours on September 30, 2026.
The company further said that M. V. Reddy, who is currently serving as Joint Managing Director, will take over as Managing Director with effect from October 1, 2026.
